Before that, she had served for years as executive vice president of the High Point Economic Development Corporation.  She’s now officially the director. High Point EDC serves as a public-private partnership helping to retain and recruit business to the city. HAECO, Thomas Built Buses and HondaJet are some of the companies Dunbeck has worked with.

DC BLOX plans $305m data centre in North Carolina

DC BLOX plans $305m data centre in North Carolina 06 May 2021 | Antony Savvas DC BLOX has acquired land in High Point, North Carolina to construct a Tier III data centre to serve the Carolina Core/Piedmont Triad region, which includes High Point, Greensboro and Winston-Salem. The new site will offer around 54,000 sq ft of data hall space and have a power capacity of 18MW. DC BLOX is believed to have paid $1.5 million for the land, and negotiated property tax rate reductions of 50 per cent over a period of up to 17 years. The carrier-neutral facility being planned will be added to DC BLOX’s Southeastern regional network of data centres and connectivity partners, including access to the region’s internet exchanges in Atlanta and Nashville, and with plans to connect to the IX in Charlotte.
