Pocono Mountain West High School students are being recognized for their skills in art.
The West High School National Art Honor Society participated in the 2021 Vans Custom Culture Art contest, nabbing a Top 50 national finalist spot for their entries.
For the contest, the West NAHS students transformed four pairs of blank Vans brand sneakers into custom works of art, designing the shoes around two themes: Head in the Clouds and Hometown Pride.
West NAHS members Jeremy Lynn, Jeremiah Maldonado, Abegail Dela Cruz, Julia Rogers, and Kylie Olizarowicz made up the team that worked on the contest submissions.
