Sherry Anderson has made more than a few impressive shots over the years.
The one she remembers best came in the 13th draw of what was then called the Scott Tournament of Hearts. It was 1994, and Anderson was making her first appearance at the Canadian women’s curling championship.

Her opponent was Connie Laliberte, the formidable skip from Manitoba who had previously led her rink to a world championship. In the sixth end, Laliberte put a guard on her shot rock, but it curled just a little too much, Anderson recalls.
