Inspired by the autographed glove of American Stacey Lewis, Yuka Saso of the Philippines posted a seven-under-par 64 in the third round of the Marathon LPGA Classic at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).
Saso made an eagle in the par four 9 that highlighted her round, where she also connected seven birdies to go with two bogeys that gave her a three-day total of 202 at 11-under in the tournament.

Nasa Hataoka survived an up-and-down second round to keep her grip on the lead at the Marathon LPGA Classic at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.
A day after flirting with a 59 and settling for a 10-under 61, the 22-year-old from Japan carded a 69 with six birdies and four bogeys. At 12-under 130, she enters the weekend two strokes ahead of Mina Harigae, with Alison Lee and Elizabeth Szokol tied for third at 9 under.
Hataoka opened the day with a four-shot advantage but came back to the pack and even ceded the lead as she bogeyed three of her first seven holes. A bogey at No. 13 sent her to 8 under for the event before she ripped off four straight birdies at Nos. 14-17.

Japan s Nasa Hataoka turned in a bogey-free, 10-under 61 on Thursday to leap out to a four-stroke lead at the Marathon LPGA Classic at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.
Hataoka recorded 10 birdies, including six straight from No. 15 to No. 2 after starting on the back nine. Had she made two more birdies to conclude her round, Hataoka would have secured the second round of 59 in LPGA Tour history.
But the 22-year-old only managed par on the eighth and ninth holes and had to settle for 10 under and a major advantage over the field. Annika Sorenstam remains the only LPGA golfer to shoot a 59 in competitive play.

Japan s Nasa Hataoka shot the lowest opening round score in an LPGA Tour event in almost seven years on Thursday with a sizzling 10-under 61 in the first round of the Marathon Classic.
The Japanese star posted six consecutive birdies in the middle of her round then drained her 10th and last birdie of the day on the par-five seventh at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio.
