has just no more saturation capability whatsoever. it just can t absorb any more water. so anything that comes down runs off. and you can just see how sloppy that was. that just looked dirty, i guess. there s highland right there. there s san bernardino mountains. there s a couple of valleys out of san bernardino mountains as well. that s where the water came from and where the problem is. see the gullies and the washes? they come down and all of a sudden it flattens out. the mud running down the valleys. you have lands that doesn t have vegetation on it anymore because of the fires. the mud starts to run down and then starts to get down toward the flatland. casey is right about right there. the wash right there. and that wash literally washed all of the dirt out of the canyons and back down and into the homes. this is where the dry wash would be. a dry creek 363 days out of the year except for this year because it s been so rainy. this water hasn t stopped. there was already water in
