Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Reduced Conflict Intersections are proposed to be constructed on Highway 14 at the intersections of Olmsted County Road 3 and 44 between Byron and Rochester, and traffic simulations are now available for motorists to see how they will work.

Reduced Conflict Intersections (RCIs) are intersections that decrease fatalities and injuries caused by right-angle, broadside crashes on four-lane divided highways. RCIs are sometimes referred to as J-turns or RCUTs in some other parts of the country.
