UPDATE: Care Flight was ordered and Carson City fire and ambulance responded tonight to an accident involving a pedestrian in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East at Fairview and Gordon. The victim, an adult female pedestrian, was conscious and moving on the pavement when rescue crews found her but was suffering from back and neck injuries.

A 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 3:38 a.m. in the 3200 block of Market Street on a misdemeanor charge, driving under the influence, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said. According to the arrest report, deputies patrolling the area of North Roop and Northridge were advised of a possible suicidal subject driving a vehicle.
