Headteacher who began illustrious career in Barrow retires
Peter Hicks first teaching position was at Greengate Junior School in Barrow in 1992. Despite it being his first role, he became a well-respected member of their Senior Leadership Team. By 2001 he had begun teaching at George Romney School in Dalton where he served as deputy headmaster for five years.
