“We will continue to have all of our safety protocols that we have in place currently and that really is because of the working environment that we’re in. By the time the City of Regina’s 2020 annual report made it to council, questions and discussion had already been exhausted, but the brief amount of time spent on the 126-page document made it no less important, said Coun. Andrew Stevens (Ward 3).
“The public accounts along with the annual budget is one of the most important documents that we review. It shows the highlights of what administration and the city have accomplished in the last year,” said Stevens during this week’s city council meeting. “I think unfortunately a lot of the interesting material is lost on the preoccupation with earnings.”
