concrete barrier at the base of Alabama Highway 35Â
commonly known as Joe s Truck Stop . The load ofÂ
lumber spilled out into the grassy field beyond the barrier and the truck was towed away from the scene by Scrapper s Towing. The cargo is especially valuableÂ
considering the escalating price of construction materials this summer. Further information about the incident or the condition of the driver was not available from the Fort Payne Police Department at press time Tuesday. Steven Stiefel | Times-Journal
