Last week. All patients were evacuated after the building lost power. Anchor james tully is live at the hospital. Is every section of the Medical Center fully operational now . Reporter from the emergency room to every floor of Bayonet Point its back open. Last thursday it was a dicey situation. The hospital lost power because of a fire and all 224 patients had to be evacuated. Now in the days since we understand that fire started in a room where the auxilliary generator was being kept. That generator has been repaired. The reason it takes so long, one of the reasons its a hospital. Has to be sterilized. Cleaned very thoroughly. Hospital staff this morning working to bring patients back that were transferred to other parts of pasco county and hernando county.
