Two brands are being recalled: Farmer John Eyking and Nova Eggs. All products being recalled have code dates between Dec. 27 and Jan. 10, and feature the code N38 following the best-before date.

Some eggs sold in Newfoundland and Labrador are being recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency due to possible salmonella contamination.
The recall was triggered by test results at Nova Scotia s Hilly Acres commercial egg farm, with the recalled products sold only in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a warning regarding certain types of eggs sold in this province.
Hilly Acres Farm is recalling the eggs due to possible salmonella contamination.
People should not eat the eggs, and distributors, retailers, and food service establishments such as hotels, restaurants, cafeterias, hospitals and nursing homes should not serve, sell, or use the recalled products.
Only eggs from Hilly Acres Farm with the following best-before dates and the lot code “N38,” or where there is no lot code on the package, are affected by the recall.
They include Farmer John Eyking large eggs (12) with the UPC code: 0 73557 00002 1, and dates Dec. 27 N38, Jan. 3 N38, Jan. 10 N38.
