A lunchtime community engagement session for the School District of La Crosse on Thursday to continue their efforts to provide information on its upcoming November referendum.
The School District of La Crosse has scheduled two community engagement sessions in the next two weeks for people to learn more about the upcoming November referendum.
Two new La Crosse School Board members, Jim Bagniewski and Adam Manka, have expressed reservations about a $53 million building referendum this fall. Bagniewski criticized the referendum for not addressing the district s two middle schools, both of which are more than 80 years old, and suggested a plan that converts Central and Logan high schools into combined 6-12 high school/middle school sites.
