And now the departments are looking at ways to step up response times. Its an idea thats been floated around for a couple of years now, but has gained traction after this summer when all four started using westcom dispatch. Any department can go to a working fire, but Department Leaders are looking to make that possible for any fire. The plan could be a shortterm fix, because more stations are also part of the equation.
