According to Fortune, Americans purchased 26.2 million live Christmas trees last year, ringing in around $2 billion in the tree business.
Given many were cuddled up at home for the holiday this year, hoping to brighten 2020 with some in-house festivities, the New York Times noted a 50% increase in tree sales throughout 2020.
