Caitlin McGuinness grabbed the late winner as Cliftonville defeated Linfield to reach the last eight of the Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup.
The Northern Ireland international popped up in the 87th minute after working her way into the box to drive the winner past Blues keeper Martine Power on Friday evening.
Linfield, looking to avenge a 5-2 league defeat to the Reds earlier in the week, had moved in front as early as the 7th minute through Lucy Johnston after Ebony Leckey had created the opening.

Northern Ireland players inspire Newtownabbey pupils
Fresh from their recent win to secure qualification for next summer’s European Football Championships, Danielle Maxwell and Kerry Beattie visited Hazelwood Integrated College on May 6 to inspire the next generation of female athletes.

During their visit to the Whitewell Road school, Danielle amd Kerry held a question and answer session with a group of Hazelwood girls who have a keen interest in football.
Many of the Hazelwood students in attendance play football at club level and one student, Cerys Madden plays in the Northern Ireland Under-17 squad.
The Northern Ireland stars gave an insight into their weekly regime, recounted the qualification journey, explained their personal experiences and detailed how they have progressed to such a high level.
