ECCC s to-go Christmas a huge hit

Elder Care Community Council of Franklin County is so incredibly grateful for the outreach and kindness from the community during this holiday season. We have received many generous donations and we appreciate each and every one that has enriched the lives of seniors in need in our county. ECCC’s mission is to bridge the gaps in services for seniors in Franklin County.
On Christmas Eve, volunteers delivered meals to homebound seniors on our list and the drive-through pick up for lunch was busy. The Rev. Thomas Webb pulled an all-nighter cooking turkeys and Adron Wynn and Craig Gibson rose early to carve. Everyone received two Christmas dinners, one from Jenny and Mark Myrick, and one from the Holy Family kitchen, along with a bag full of groceries decorated by Project Impact. On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Ennis GP, Dr. Maire Finn, answered questions from children in Holy Family Senior and Junior Schools, Ennis; Ennis National School, Clohanbeg NS, Cree and Ballymanagh NS, Co. Galway.
