Evan Abbott has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
Evan is a member of the Great Smoky Mountain Council Toqua District Troop 444 sponsored by Farragut Presbyterian Church. He received the rank of Eagle Scout at his Eagle Board of Review, a news release stated.
For his Eagle project, Evan helped renovate rooms in the youth area of his church, Robertsville Baptist Church, in Oak Ridge. He designed and constructed a cabinet and counter top. He also installed new flooring in the food service room and painted the game room.
