CLARKSBURG — U.S. Attorney Jarod J. Douglas was recognized during an awards ceremony for his investigations and community service by the Northern District of West Virginia and by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Nakia Arrington focuses her practice on litigation and investigations, including economic development work, federal regulatory issues, environmental compliance, and American Indian Law.

Bryant students Megan Polun ’23, of West Hartford, CT, and Taylor Vahey ’23, of Falmouth, MA, have been selected to the 2023 cohort of the College Leadership Rhode Island (CLRI) Program. Founded in 2004 by Leadership RI, a nationally recognized community leadership development organization, CLRI inspires, educates, and engages a diverse group of emerging young adult leaders as they transition from college to career.

The University of Nebraska at Kearney will host its winter commencement 10 a.m. Friday at the Health and Sports Center on campus.

Weatherford College received a favorable 2021-22 financial audit and a report on the college’s impact on the North Texas economy during their December meeting this week.

Chancellor Doug Kristensen will also present the annual Leland Holdt/Security Mutual Life Distinguished Faculty Award.
