It will be followed by an optional exam leading to a certificate for those who attain the 75 per cent pass rate. The course is led by sustainable business travel consultants Bernard Harrop and Horst Bayer, and GSTC CEO Randy Durband. Topics covered include sourcing emissions data, measuring the financial impact of sustainability and creating sustainable business travel policies. Registration fees are US$445 for the course and US$75 for the exam, although there are discounts for group bookings and those with financial needs.

Right now, when business trips considered perfectly unremarkable during pre-Covid times aren’t even legal, any kind of forecasting is uniquely challenging.
