Our Response
In the immediate aftermath of the earthquake, International Medical Corps deployed personal protective equipment (PPE) and an Emergency Response Team to assess the damage in Petrinja, Sisak, Glina and the surrounding villages.
Healthcare facilities in Petrinja and Glina are unsalvageable. To meet the urgent need to restore primary care access,
International Medical Corps mobilized two temporary structures to support services in central Croatia.
Critical needs in the health sector include PPE, medical equipment and supplies, and two additional temporary structures to facilitate continued delivery of healthcare services.

Game Warden Dustin Dockery and Houston SPCA s Wildlife Center of Texas Debbie Mitchell release a female bald eagle back into the wild, Friday, June 12, 2020, in Baytown. The bald eagle came into the SPCA s Wildlife Center of Texas on May 29th after the game warden rescued the bird, after Baytown resident, Luis Arguello saw her hit a power line and get knocked out in his driveway. The eagle, whom Arguello had already named Pearl , as he had watched her grow for the last several years in her nest near his home. Pearl had hit the power line with her wing, and sustained an injury to her wing and soft tissue injury
