Non-profit organization Center for Entrepreneurial Studies has received a $20,000 Affordable Housing Challenge Grant from the LEAP Explosion Fund which United Way of the Tri-Valley Area administers. Funding will allow for the center to pilot a tiny house village concept that hopes to address the lack of affordable housing in the region.
The mission of the center is to create a community site for economic development and creative thinking through respectful, compassionate, structured support(s) emphasizing a positive mindset for a growing and prosperous community. The Center of Entrepreneurial Studies is “created by students for students” knowing that they possess qualities, skills, knowledge that can result in the formation and the ownership of their own establishment while being a positive contributor to their community.
