WWE NXT April 20th, 2021 | Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida Right off the bat, while I dislike the new NXT logo, I love that Poppy got the theme. NXT often makes huge swings and misses with their TakeOver song choices by relying on out-of-touch musicians but Poppy is their best bet in recent years. Kyle O’Reilly kicked things off. He was in a good mood after TakeOver and discussed what his future potentially held in regards to winning championships. He went to call out Karrion Kro...

Share this story KUSHIDA’s championship celebration and open challenge After his stunning victory over Santos Escobar last week, newly minted Cruiserweight champion KUSHIDA had plenty to celebrate, and WWE was more than happy to oblige. Before the show had even aired on USA Network we were promised a party to celebrate his first week on top. If pro wrestling has taught us anything though it’s that these events are alw...

Commentators: Wade Barrett, Beth Phoenix, Vic Joseph They are going to have a hard time topping what they did last week but NXT can figure it out as well as anyone else. The big story tonight is the return of Kyle O’Reilly for the first time in a long thirteen days, though it isn’t clear what he’ll be doing. You could easily put him into the title picture with Karrion Kross but he might be dealing with Adam Cole for a bit longer. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Here is Kyle O’Reiil...

Kushida Makes Changes To In-Ring Attire, Statement On Being WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion (Photo Credit: WWE) One of the hot topics on social media coming out of this week’s WWE NXT episode was how NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida wrestled with no boots on. Fans on social media have responded to the changes with a s...

Kyle OReilly will kick off the show by making his first appearance since defeating Adam Cole in their unsanctioned match at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. On last weeks NXT, footage was shown of OReilly and Cole both being taken out by ambulance following their unsanctioned match. Cole yelled at OReilly and threatened him as they were being wheeled into the hospital. The NXT womens division will get a new addition as Sarray makes...

“I’m gonna punch you in the face” Kyle O’Reilly opened the broadcast looking for answers after Adam Cole kicked him in the face at Vengeance Day. Roderick Strong tried to play peacekeeper for The Undisputed Era, but O’Reilly wanted no part of his “heat of the moment” explanation. O’Reilly warned Strong not to step into the ring when he was already in a sour mood, but he needn’t have bothered as Finn Bálor interrupted them both. He too was unceremoniously booted by Adam Cole,...
