Apple may announce its car plan in the next 3-6 months
According to reports, Wedbush analyst, Dan Ives, Apple may disclose relevant information on its high-profile car project in the next 3 – 6 months. The confidential internal project “Project Titan” is the company’s self-driving car project. Ives also reveals that Apple may take some time before the care actually arrives. Wedbush has been that Apple will not actually release a car for consumers until at least 2024. This is where the analyst still stands.
Ives said that although the car will not arrive until a few years later, before that, the company needs to release some information about the vehicle. The company needs to do this in order to lay the foundation for Apple cars. He believes that Apple will make public its car plans sometime this summer.
Huawei consumer channels may sell some brands of cars
Huawei released five new products for smart cars in Shanghai yesterday. These products cover the fields of lidar, smart cockpit, and autonomous driving. In a recent interview, Wang Jun, president of Huawei’s Smart Car Solutions BU, revealed that in a few days, some brands of cars may be sold on some channels. This means that Huawei may use its consumer BG channels to sell smart cars. He said that “this is in the process of consideration and you will get official information in two days”.
According to reports, Huawei will hold a press conference at its global flagship store in Shanghai on April 20. Huawei’s consumer business CEO, Yu Chengdong, will make an appearance at the press conference. The company claims that this is a “flagship press conference on cars” that will be launch in cooperation with a low-key company.

BAIC’s new energy car brand ArcFox and Huawei have jointly released their first HUAWEI Inside smart luxury pure electric car, BAIC Alpha S in Shanghai, during the weekend.
The Alpha S Huawei HI version of the smart cockpit uses the Harmony OS operating system to realize the operation between the smart phone and the smart cockpit.
Huawei has repeatedly said that it won’t make its own car. The BAIC Alpha S utilizes the so-called Huawei Inside concept, in which Hauwei provides the core intelligent vehicle system, operating system, hardware, and other telecommunications functions while the OEM partner contribute remaining expertise.
Huawei And Its Partners Will Launch Three Car Sub-Brands On April 17

Huawei, Chery Automobile to cooperate on smart car solutions

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chery Automobile and Huawei Technologies Co.,Ltd. (Huawei) signed on Dec. 16 a framework agreement for an in-depth cooperation on cloud computing, big data, smart car solution and other technical areas, said the automaker.

Under the agreement, both parties will conduct all-around collaboration on smart car-related electrical/electronic architecture, intelligent cockpit, car-borne computing and autonomous driving systems, intelligent energy and car-cloud service. Besides, they will make joint efforts to explore 5G-enabled innovative application scenarios, and develop the technologies of 5G-based V2X (vehicle-to-everything), intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperation and autonomous driving.
