Between gas leaks and street closures residents here were rattled to say the least. It was just a loud bang and you felt the ground shake under your feet. There are more than 400 cranes now operating across york city and mayor de blasio this morning ordered all of them to be immediately secured. It was just a big loud crash. He said this actually could have been a lot worse. It came on a snowy friday morning so unexpectedly, it has now left two people still in the hospital at this hour, and it also claimed the life of a 30yearold man from the Upper West Side.
