HIGH NOTES: Scholarships, PB&J drive, backpack fundraiser | The Daily Gazette SECTIONS In Schenectady, the Schenectady Foundation, recently awarded $31,500 in scholarships to high school seniors in the county. A $10,000 Anna Hudson Erbacher Scholarship, to support students in Schenectady County with a passion for teaching, was each awarded to April Buechner of Schalmont High School and Haley Neufeld of Niskayuna High School. A $4,000 scholarship was awarded to Piper Cartier of Mohonasen High School. The Schenectady STEM Scholarship, awarded to a Schenectady high school student interested in science, technology, math, or engineering, was awarded to Grace Roberts. The $2,500 David. J. Goyette Memorial Vocational Scholarship, to help students get a degree in the skilled building trades or teach in the vocational field was awarded to Zachary Bradt of Duanesburg High School.

Scholarships available for Schenectady High students, county residents | The Daily Gazette SECTIONS The Schenectady Foundation has announced two scholarships available to Schenectady County residents and one available to Schenectady High School students this month. The scholarships include the $10,000 Anna Hudson Erbacher Scholarship for students in Schenectady County with a passion for teaching, the $2,500 Dave Goyette Memorial Vocational Scholarship for Schenectady County students interested in the vocational fields and the $5,000 Schenectady STEM Scholarship for Schenectady High School students who plan to study math, science or engineering. Applications for all three scholarships are due by March 31. Students can begin applying for the scholarships at schenectadyfoundation.org.
