A change in leadership will soon take effect at the MontCo Anti-Hunger Network as food insecurity remains an issue in Montgomery County. Executive Director Amanda Musselman will step down from her post at the end of December. Musselman began her time with the MontCo Anti-Hunger Network back in July 2022.
Turkey Open The 21st Annual “Turkey Open,” will take place from 8:30 until 11 a.m. today at Canterbury Golf Club in Beachwood. After a Covid hiatus last year, the “Turkey Open” returns regardless of the weather, and will have participants playing three holes of golf, followed by food, drinks prizes and fun. This allows those taking part to start off the holiday by giving back to those in need. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Hunger Network. The event is the brainchild of Hunger Network Board of Directors member Dave Weiner, who started it 21 years ago because he wanted to do something to help others. Suggested donation for participation in the event is $50 per golfer.
