Hussain Rabi’u has assumed office as the commissioner of police, Zamfara State Command
His deployment to Zamfara state follows the recent shake up of senior police officers by the Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali Baba
Hussaini Rabiu took over on the sixth of May this year from his predecessor Abutu Yaro who was redeployed to Imo state as the commissioner of police.
Abutu Yaro assumed duty as the twenty ninth Commissioner of Police Zamfara state on the December twenty two in the twenty twenty

Cp Hussain Rabi’ u was enlisted into the Nigeria police force on 3rd march ,1990 as cadet Assistant superintendent of police where he was professionally trained at the prestigious police Academy, kaduna Annex.
The new Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Hussain Rabi’u has resumed office, calling on all residents of the state to collaborate with the officers of the command.

The Zamfara State police command wishes to inform members of the general public that, CP Hussain Rabi’u psc, an indigene of Niger state has assumed duty on 6th May 2021 as the 30th commissioner of Police in Zamfara State.
He took over from his predecessor CP Abutu Yaro FDC, who was redeployed to Imo state as the commissioner of police.
The new Zamfara state police boss was born on 26th March 1962 in Niger state. He attended both primary and secondary schools in Niger state. He attended the University of Sokoto where he graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor in Education. After his successful graduation, he did his National Youth service corp (NYSC) in Oyo state in the year 1988.
