you have to go back to 48 for a brokered one, multiple votes, trading of horses, et cetera. is this a real possibility? look in this cycle i m not going to rule anything. there s been a lot of strange things that have happened but i think it s still very highly unlikely and i this i a lot is made there s a hypersensitivity to the maneuvering going on right now but i think too much was made of this particular story. the idea that reince priebus and a bunch of people he knows really well for a long time in a public restaurant are having conversations about how they re going to build a brokered convention? i don t think that that is what s happening. i think there are conversations about possible scenarios going on throughout the party but i think it s unlikely. remember, we haven t had one vote yet. there are still a bunch of delegates and a bunch of voters who will decide who the candidates are before we get to that point. does this at least show, though we have to acknowledge
isis has in the pipeline. his comments came just as isis put out a chilling new video threatening to strike america and specifically mentioned the nation s capital, washington, d.c. but the feds are treating the claims as a scare tactic. that of course is not stopping law enforcement from closely monitoring potential threats to the united states. i want to bring in cnn s deborah feyerick. deborah, do headquarters police departments throughout the country see the isis threat as legitimate? well, you know, what they know is isis tends to put out these videos, sort of aspirational videos, but there s always the risk they could go from aspirational to operational. that s really what they re protecting against. so there is an increased awareness. it doesn t mean that the threat level has gone up. what it does mean is there s a hypersensitivity to anything that might appear out of the normal. in its latest video isis continues its threats against the west setting its sights
as well. in this 23-page suicide note, flanagan talks about his past including claims he was a teen model, claims he was a male escort in addition to working in tv news. he discusses his personal life being a gay black man. he rants about his perceived injustices, the bullying that was going on in his life. he also praised offered praise for some other killers, mass murderers, if you will. he also referenced past family episodes of mental health issues, more praise for other killers. what does all this say to you in your analysis? in my analysis, obviously i never met him. it feels like it lines up to feel like a paranoid personality disorder. a lot of hyper sensitivity, suspiciousness, combativeness, this buying into this conspiracy that almost feels like it s against him. a tremendous amount of contempt for others. and so what s interesting is how
why do you think people are so sensitive about it? what s happening then with iraq iraq is still an issue right now. we re talking about ramadi today. why is this so sensitive, do you think? well, for the reasons i just discussed. i think the party the gop is evolving on this issue. everyone is sort of wondering where the party is going to end on iraq. four years ago, the stock response to this was, of course it was the right decision to go into iraq. saddam hussein was a dangerous man, and frankly had the policies of the current administration. that was the stock response. the party has moderated a little. i think everyone s got hypersensitivity to where to sort of land on this. i was talking about jeb bush with dana bash last week. both of us were saying, give the man some credit for putting himself out there, being open to being asked some of these questions and making some of the
out. and these kids believe it, a lot of them. that s, stirs them up. and, so that s why you have all of this contention in academia now. i feel like in this case it was sort of, sound like it was, like this hypersensitivity which is another problem we have now. everybody is so sensitive about hurting other people s feelings. i m not. i was going to say except on the o reilly factor. you re not. i m not we know. saying the administration is pc? they said, we don t want anybody to feel left out or something so we ll change it to national day which doesn t even make sense. national day. all this apologizing bill, you re not on the bandwagon. i don t apologize unless i do something wrong. then i apologize. sometimes we do. i think people should apologize if we do something wrong if they hurt somebody. you re fair. i am. this is insane. if they want american pride theme, that is good. they should be applaud for that.
