Lyman Hall's Lucas DeCrescenzo, whose dad was an All-American pole vaulter at Southern, won the discus title Thursday at the Class MM track championships at Willow Brook Park in New Britain.

It came down to the last event, the 4x400 meter relay, in the Class M boys state championship. Tolland needed to win the relay and get the 10 points to win and the Eagles did, beating Suffield 78-77.
