Union minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal on Sunday reviewed the progress of the sea trials of Indigenous Aircraft Carrier (IAC) Vikrant and said the aim was to commission it by August 2022.

IAC Vikrant has been designed to accommodate an assortment of fixed-wing and rotary aircraft.
