Mrs Adachukwu Chukelu Okafor, a lawyer, who allegedly molested a 11-year-old Happiness Nwafor, whom she took into her household to serve as a maid, had been arrested by the police in Anambra State, SaharaReporters has learnt.   SaharaReporters had reported on February 12, that the Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police Force has launched a manhunt for the fleeing lawyer, Mrs Okafor for allegedly molested a 11-year-old teenager, Happiness.  

The lawyer, Adachukwu Cukelu-Okafor, was said to have used a broken bottle, knife and electric iron to “brutalise” the house help who began staying with her on 5 January.

The Children, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Court sitting at the Chief Magistrate's Court in Awka, has remanded a lawyer, Adachukwu Okafor, at the State Criminal and Investigative Department custody in Awka, for allegedly inflicting physical injuries on the body of her 11-year-old housekeeper.

The Anambra female lawyer, Adachukwu Okafor, who allegedly brutalised her 11-year-old house help has denied inflicting injuries on the maid.

Okafor resides at Chris Igwilo Street Akapka GRA, 3-3 Onitsha of Anambra State.
