The provincial government of Iloilo in the Philippines, a major producer of pork in the country, is looking to increase its sources of protein, including not only pork but also chicken meat and fish products, due to the ongoing threat of African swine fever (ASF) in the province, Philippine News Agency reported.

Al-Sayyed Al Qusseir, Egypts Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, said the country has released 199,000 tonnes of corn and soybeans required for poultry fodder worth US$96 million, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Egypt Today reported.
