The father of 12-year-old Aminat Alege whose eye was damaged by police operatives attached to the Dopemu division in Lagos State has again lamented neglect by the relevant authorities. SaharaReporters had reported how Aminat lost her eye when the police fired a teargas canister at her. SaharaReporters gathered that the incident occurred on Friday, February 9, 2024, in front of a mosque near Adam Yakubu Memorial High School, Iloro, in the Agege area of Lagos.
