Stripped of its legalese, we have authorized, congress has authorized the use of military force to fight al qaeda all through the middle east. you dont get immunity as an american citizen if you join up with our enemy. he was a military figure on the al qaeda side. so he was a legitimate target. thats the core of the argument and the memo. >> chris, i dont know how much youre allowed to say, given the years that you spent, doing the kind of work that you navy s.e.a.l.s do, s.e.a.l. team 8 member...

Country. it has several reasons for it, not just for security reasons that if somebody is bent on ill-will, bent on criminal activity in the cockpit, you have a second person there. there is also a practical reason. there have been questions where one is out or in and others have been taken ill, in couple cases, a pilot has died in flight. recently, we had cases where a pilot locked himself out of a cockpit. it is kind of important. we have the two-person cockpit rule. two people in the cockpit ...

In this trial? >> so, first of all, john guy had the same strategy in the zimmerman case, which is a lot of rhetorical flourishes, a very dramatic vocal style. thats on the plus side. on the negative side is, he doesnt effectively connect the evidence with the law and bring it home for the jury. i mean, lets be clear about what this verdict was. the prosecution won on all of the easiest charges. they won that this man cant take a gun and shoot at a fleeing car. those are the charges they won on....

I think that we have every reason to try to fight them because they are -- we are expecting the iraqis to fight that. greg, i want to ask you about a media question. this is a pattern. if you opposed a policy of the obama administration, obama care, stimulus plan, even on the pullout of iraq you were labeled all sorts of things, one of them, racist, that you were rooting for failure of the obama administration. does the media have to go back and look at, well, wait, perhaps some of these critics...
