More than 800 illegal gas connections disconnected during drive in Gazipur Star Digital Report Star Digital Report
A mobile court today conducted a drive in Gazipur s Board Bazar and surrounding areas and disconnected more than 800 illegal gas connections of 400 houses.
Gazipur Executive Magistrate Md Iqbal Hossain led the drive and imposed a fine of Tk1.5 lakh on a factory named Messrs Emma Dry Process Factory in Board Bazar and another fine of Tk1.2 lakh on two individuals, said Suruj Alam, manager of Gazipur Regional Office at the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited.
