Illini Central school in Mason City lost a coach who shared his love of learning to COVID-19 and with the death of James Albert Newell, 63, has prompted Anthony W. Wherley, the director of technology at IC, to share his thoughts on the loss.
Newell, of Easton, passed away Dec. 11 at Blessings Hospital in Quincy.
In a blog that was shared on Facebook Wherley stated his grief and frustration to losing a friend. This notion might sound crazy since I have already written this week that James Albert Newell will never be replaced. That is a fact. He won’t, wrote Wherley.
