San Diego craft breweries won 12 medals this week at the 2023 World Beer Cup, the international event often referred to “the Olympics of beer competitions.”

Tomorrow, Denver welcomes the Collaboration Beer Fest, featuring a multitude of craft beer options for all beer-loving Denverites to enjoy.

The official Guild Fest kick-off event highlighting and honoring the local independent craft beer industry will take place from 12 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Surf Sports Park in Del Mar.

Lovelands homegrown Root Shoot Malting took home a medal last weekend in the Malt Cup, an annual competition hosted by the Craft Maltsters Guild. This is the third year in a row that Root Shoot has won a piece of hardware, making it the only small malt producer in the country to pull off that feat.
