The Trinidad and Tobago Guardian is the longest running daily newspaper in the country, marking its centenary in 2017. The paper started life as the Trinidad Guardian on Sunday 2nd September 1917 by the newly formed Trinidad Publishing Company Limited.

Pastor Dr Wayne Haywood - Full Gospel and Independent Churches of T&T says Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has no spiritual authority to close places of worship.
Some religious leaders have expressed solidarity with the government’s latest Public Health Regulations but the Full Gospel and Independent Churches of T&T has lashed out saying the Prime Minister does not have the spiritual authority to close places of worship.
