"The chairman of the PDP in Ife/Akpodim/Chokoneze ward in the Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State has been killed.

Mr Uzodinma also suspended his Special Adviser and General Manager, Imo State Housing Corporation, Chinedu Mbakwe-Obi.

Messrs Uzodinma and Ododo visited the President Tinubu over the victories recorded by Messrs Uzodinma and Ododo in the 11 November governorship elections in Imo and Kogi states, respectively.

“He was shot dead in his wife’s presence by gunmen who requested to see him,” an unnamed source was quoted as saying.
