Barely 24 hours after his inauguration for a second term in office, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, on Tuesday, dissolved his cabinet.

Mr Tinubu breached his own directive on Monday when a large party accompanied him to Imo State for a short inauguration event.

“The men who kidnapped him were heavily armed. They were dressed in police uniforms.”

The Inspector-General of Police Olukayode Egbetokun, has launched the Special Intervention Squad in the Federal Capital Territory to curb activities of kidnappers and bandits, especially in border towns within the territory.

Governor Uzodimma made this known to the cabinet members at the Government House in Owerri on Tuesday.
