School board vote makes it official; students can attend classes five days a week beginning Jan. 26
Crook County School District made it official last week – all students will be allowed to attend school full time when the second semester begins.
Grades K-3 have attended school full time since the beginning of the school year in early September. Grades 4 and 5 joined them in early October, at the same time that Crook County Middle School and High School allowed students to attend classes two days a week in alternating cohorts.
Jan. 26 will be the first time in 10 months that all public-school students will be allowed to go to school five days a week, and district leaders are thrilled.
