As of today, NVK is now a conformant Vulkan 1.3 implementation on Turing (RTX 2000 and GTX 1600 series), Ampere (RTX 3000 series), and Ada (RTX 4000 series) GPUs.
The deal is key for Renault which, despite an improved performance, is overshadowed by bigger rivals including Stellantis. It could bolster a legacy business that still accounts for most of Renault s income, while the company also tries to make headway with electric vehicles (EVs).
PARIS (Reuters) -Renault shares reversed early gains on Tuesday as investors digested the French carmaker's decision to ditch plans to list its electric vehicle arm Ampere due to stock market conditions. Several analysts said they viewed the news to scrap the initial public offering (IPO) as positive, noting it removed dilution risk for current shareholders and uncertainty over valuation amid challenging market conditions. Renault had also said on Monday it had enough cash to do without the stockmarket listing and would continue to fund the development of Ampere until it reaches break-even in 2025.
Ampere IPO Proces: In a sweeping overhaul unveiled in 2022, Renault decided to split off its electric vehicle unit into Ampere, hoping that running it as a separate company would make it more agile in the rapidly developing sector.
Renault said on Tuesday it had enough cash to do without the stockmarket listing and would continue to fund the development of Ampere until it reaches break-even in 2025.
