The potrero launch Development Site in the eastern neighborhoods. Thats 2y a picture of the building, but that was approved by the commission through an in kind agreement. Its currently serving children right now for a day care. So, thats kind of a fabulous piece for eastern neighborhoods, first Child Care Center we were able to establish in one of our area plans. And the other pieces youll see are duboce park, church, transit and streetscape improvements. Those were not funded as Development Impact fees. That is an important part of the story. Impact fees pay about 30 . So, we do have to rely on other public Funding Sources like federal, state, and local Funding Sources. And off in the bottom right corner a small green project which is new to the Planning Department. The cop instreet, and that was part of the central freeway [speaker not understood]. Critical condition. No change in any other status. The rest were transported as traumas. Tell us what happened. All we know is that the fire truck was rear ended by the tractortrailer. We dont know about the circumstances of what was happening. We know that the fire truck had just cleared another accident. They were cleared by other units. The tractortrailer flipped, the suv a a third vehicle, flipped, and the fire truck flipped. As far as accidents in your years on the job, how does this compare . Its one of the most significant fire truck accidents that ive seen with a fire truck that was going down the road. I mean, a lot of times when we have accidents its because were blocking the scene and get struck by somebody ina tensive. This is one of the most severe ive seen with a fire truck traveling. The hearing was set for sparks but the hearing took a more even dramatic turn when former congresswoman Gabby Giffords was there. Giffords led off with a statement that lasted about one minute. Speaking is difficult, but i need to Say Something important. Violence is a big problem. Too many children are dying. Too many children. We must do something.
