Disclaimer:
I am only one man with limited time and, in 2020, I undertook a law conversion (hence the drop of in features in the winter), so if your favourite record is missing chances are I just haven’t heard it yet, so please share your favourite LPs below the line.
Equally, because I’ve been extremely busy, this list leans heavily on albums that I have reviewed (big names, big hype releases) as there are still a host of records I’m desperate to hear, but will not include without having listened to them in full (Thou, Pallbearer, Sasha Sloan, The Koreatown Oddity, Napalm Death, Thundercat, Idles, Against All Logic, Declan McKenna, etc…).

Las Vegas-based rock band The Killers have teased their fans with a cryptic post that points at their new album. The official Twitter account of the band shared a tracklist of brand new songs but without any caption. The post only included the names of fresh 11 songs. In the right-hand side of the tracklist, the mysterious post says âA-Listâ, which can either be the name of their seventh album or it can also mean that fans might soon get a âB-List .
The much-acclaimed rock band formed in 2001 and had dropped their sixth full-length album titled âImploding the Mirageâ in August 2020. Songs like âCautionâ, âFire in Boneâ, âMy Ownâs Soul Warningâ and âDying Breedâ got tremendous response from the audience.
11. ‘Desperate Things’
“You know when people just say that? Every time someone makes a record they say that they have 50 songs and they’re going to release another record. We really are,” Flowers told NME after the completion of ‘Imploding The Mirage‘. “We’re going to release another one in about 10 months. We’ve already gone back into the studio with [Jonathon, producer] Rado and Shawn [Everett, producer]. We did a week in Northern California.
“I had a lot of time on my hands. Before I’d normally be gearing up to tour, all of that time has gone back into writing more songs. It’s been pretty fruitful.”
