SHANGHAI, Apr 22 (SMM) - According to customs data, in the first quarter of 2022, China imported 529,000 mt of lithium concentrate, of which about 502,000 mt were imported from Australia, accounting for about 95%.

China's imports of NPI in March were 430,056 mt, up 32.5% on the month and 28.8% on the year.

SHANGHAI, Apr 21(SMM) - According to customs data, China imported 10,000 mt of cobalt raw material in metal content in March, a month-on-month increase of 44% and year-on-year increase of 21%.

According to China General Administration of Customs, China imported 120,600 mt of unwrought aluminium alloy in March, up 54.5% YoY and 31.3% MoM. The imports in the first quarter of 2022 totalled 329,000 mt, up 50.2% YoY.

According to China General Administration of Customs, in the first quarter of 2022, China's magnesium ingot exports totalled 69,182.65 mt, an increase of 17.11% over the same period last year. In March, China's magnesium ingot exports were 27,549.49 mt, up 17.32% YoY, of which exports to the Netherlands accounted for 33% of the total, Canada 9%, the United Arab Emirates 7%, Japan 6% and India 6%.
