The suspect, Jeboy James Poneles, 21, a resident of Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2, is tagged as a high-value individual. Lt. Joven Mogato, chief of the City Drug Enforcement Unit, in a radio interview, said Poneles is a newly-identified drug personality, considering that young people are being used by drug syndicates as indicated in the arrests during operations. Mayor Noel Rosal, in a radio interview, said he believes this is attributed to increasing population protection.
