Three Monmouth County new jersey districts are being sued by the state of new jersey for passing versions of policy requiring teachers to inform parents if a student is seeking a transgender accommodation, such as using a new pronoun or bathroom. Today was the first time the state publicly argued its case against the middletown, marlboro and Manalapan Englishtown School Districts, districts whose leaders agree that the aim here, trace, is to strike a balance between care for the children and the rights of parents.
