Despite 78% of the top 100 companies acknowledging their employees participation in volunteering initiatives, fewer incentives are offered in India compared to the US. Only 22% of Indian firms offer volunteering time-off, compared to 66% of US firms, and just 7% of Indian firms provide volunteering matching grants, compared to 40% of the Fortune 500.
A new report that looks at volunteering trends in 100 Top companies in India was released today. The report highlights the huge potential to grow employee volunteering in India and the potential benefits to companies from the same.
