India News: The entry of foreign nationals into India is a sovereign decision, govt said on Thursday responding to queries on the deportation of Indian-origin UK author Nitasha Kaul, who had landed in Bengaluru to participate in an event organised by the Karnataka govt.
Speaking about Indian-origin UK national, Nitasha Kaul's claims of being denied entry to India recently, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson said that the entry of foreign nationals into the country is a "sovereign issue".
